The Australian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong was formed over 21 years ago to facilitate business development and networking opportunities for its members.

AustCham represents the largest business community outside of Australian and is the second largest international chamber in Hong Kong. Over the past 21 years AustCham has grown to over 1,000 members and it now represents more than 600 companies. The Australian community in Hong Kong numbers nearly 55,000 people whilst the Australian business community in Macau numbers over 2,000.

AustCham membership is comprised of senior representatives from major Australian companies in Hong Kong and Macau; Australians holding senior positions in local and international businesses; companies selling Australian products and services; Hong Kong and China nationals with interests in or connections to Australia. Members represent all the major industries and service businesses including; banking, legal, accounting, IT and financial services, construction and infrastructure, hospitality, tourism and leisure, media and marketing, trading and manufacturing. AustCham member companies employ over 250,000 people in Hong Kong, which is over 7% of the workforce.

The China-Australia Chamber of Commerce (AustCham Beijing) functions to provide members with the information, resources and contacts they need to succeed in China. Its overriding goal is to 'Advance Australian Business in China.'

AustCham Shanghai is the leading Australia-China business organization located in China´s developed East Coast and Yangtze River Delta commercial region. Established in 1994, AustCham Shanghai has nearly 300 corporate members registered in both China and Australia. As an independent non-partisan, non-profit-making business organization founded and maintained by its membership, AustCham Shanghai supports its members in creating and adding value in all their enterprises and delivers a strong, unique community outreach program with the cooperation of member businesses.

AustCham Shanghai´s mission is to strengthen Australia-China business, government and community relationships and promote Australia as a creative and reliable provider of innovative, high quality business solutions. It effectively promotes a positive and successful image of Australia-China business, which broadly benefits all relevant interests and strongly supports membership.

AustCham Shanghai operates a fulltime professionally staffed Secretariat office with bilingual staff as well as an active website and database.

The China Australia Chamber of Commerce-South China (AustCham-South China), formerly known as the China Australia Chamber of Commerce, Guangzhou (CACC-GZ),the Australian Business Association in Guangdong (ABA), was formed to promote, develop and expand business relations between Australia and China. The Chamber has grown rapidly to provide a forum to enable its members to exchange information on business opportunities within the region.

HKABA was established in 1987 with the aim to promote a positive image for Hong Kong and to reinforce economic ties between Hong Kong/China and Australia.
