Overview
The AustCham Westpac Australia-China Business Awards 2011 will recognise and celebrate the excellence of Australian business across Greater China.
Now in its 19th year, this awards’ programme has grown in stature and is a high profile celebration of Australian business success between Greater China and Australia.
The Australia-China Business Awards are jointly organised by the Australian Chambers of Commerce (AustCham) in Hong Kong and Macau, Beijing and Shanghai and are proudly supported by Westpac.

* Nominations close – Thursday 8 September 2011
* Announcement of Finalists – Monday 19 September 2011.
* ACBA:2011 Awards Ceremony in Hong Kong – Thursday 27 October 2011.
Judging Process
A rigorous judging process is employed to ensure that the best nominees succeed in becoming Finalists; companies that truly can say that they are Excellent in their business activities. Often the Judges are challenged to select one winner from each category, as the competition is fierce.
The painstaking judging process has been honed over 18 years and the Judges are always keen to explain their decisions and to assist Finalists to understand what it takes to be a winner in this important competition.
Gala Awards Ceremony
The AustCham Westpac Australia-China Business Awards 2011 will culminate at an exclusive black-tie gala presentation dinner Finalists and Winners on Thursday 27 October 2011 at The Grand Hyatt, Hong Kong.
The event is also a night of memorable entertainment and glamour; with performers, guest speakers and exceptional Australian food and wine.

The prestigious Australia-China Business Awards attract significant media coverage across Greater China, Australia and throughout the Asia Pacific region.
Australia Network is again the broadcast media sponsor for ACBA:2011. Australia Network is Australia's international television channel, beaming 24/7 to more than 44 countries across Asia, the Pacific and Indian subcontinent.
Australia-China Connections magazine will be following the Awards program and has committed to highlighting the finalists and winners in a special report. This magazine receives coverage in China, Australia, Hong Kong and through Austrade offices and airlines.
Additionally, the South China Morning Post will run a special feature highlighting the winners on Friday 28 October 2011.
